Impress the guests at your next holiday gathering by bringing or serving made-from-scratch Mozzarella cheese, made by you!
Yes you read that correctly. Now you can make your own Mozzarella Cheese in your very own kitchen by using Chef Jasper Mirabile’s Mozzarella Theater Kit and it could not be easier.
I attended an event at the beautiful new Portfolio Kitchen and Design Center where Chef Jasper demonstrated how easy it was to make home made Mozzarella. The kit includes everything you need. All you add is milk.
All specific instructions are included in the kit and below is a basic recap of how it made.
Step one: Mix together milk and rennet tablet (included) to specified temperature per directions. (Thermometer included in kit)
Step two: Once curds are set, drain the curds using cheesecloth (included)
Step three: Take Curds and work them with some warm water. They will melt together and form a silky cheese. Stretch until smooth and form into ball.
Step four: Slice and eat!
It was really that simple and very delicious!
Check out this video of Chef Jasper making fresh Mozzarella table side at his restaurant.
This kit makes 8 batches of Fresh Mozzarella.

I love goat’s milk gouda!
God, what cheese DON’T I like? None! If I could have a bite of any right now, though, it would probably be… Irish cheddar!
Fontina!
My favorite cheese… a good Gorgonzola!!
Macagn from the Alps above Torino, unfortunately incredibly rare.
Any cheese from Alma Creamery
Fresh Mozzarella or Gouda! But I like any cheese, besides Blue Cheese.
Asiago cheese!
Cheese IS a food group in my book! However, if I HAVE to pick a favorite it has to be gorgonzola dolce. Yum! Think I’ll have some right now!!! 😉
my favorite at the moment is cave aged swiss gruyere not the gruyere from Wisconsin.
My favorite cheese is Swiss.
