Authentic Tex-Mex Restaurant Grand Opening on Tuesday, October 8
Kansas City, Mo. – Get ready, Kansas City! Chuy’s, the Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant known for authentic, fresh food and eclectic design, officially opens to the public at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, on the Country Club Plaza.

At Chuy’s, people can expect to find authentic Tex-Mex food made using only the freshest ingredients. The menu features hand-rolled tortillas made on a comal in the dining room, eight made-from-scratch sauces, including the famous Creamy Jalapeño, and signature dishes such as Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom Enchiladas, Big As Yo’ Face Burritos, Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken and much more.
Chuy’s guarantees Kansas Citians will love its one-of-a-kind happy hour. What makes this happy hour so unique is the famous, Fully-Loaded Nacho Car. Housed inside the trunk of a classic car, happy hour goers can enjoy a free nacho bar with fresh chips, salsa, queso, taco meat, beans and more. Discounted drinks such as house margaritas with fresh squeezed lime juice, Texas martinis and beer are also available. Chuy’s happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
